Explosion Zoetermeer: Police Seeks Witnesses

In the night from Monday, February 3 to Tuesday, February 4, an explosion occurred at Gaardedreef in Zoetermeer. Around 1:00 AM, the police received a report of a loud bang in the street. The police are investigating the incident and would like to get in touch with witnesses.

The explosion occurred at the rear of a house on Gaardedreef. Damage was caused to several windows on the side of the house, as well as to the window of the back door. No one was injured.

Endangerment

Explosives such as heavy illegal fireworks, jerrycans with flammable liquids, or homemade explosives do not belong in public spaces. They create life-threatening situations for residents, businesses, passersby, and emergency responders.
