It was around 4:20 PM when the report of the shooting came in. A man was said to have shot at another man, and then both ran in different directions; towards Slinge and towards Herkingenstraat. Police were quickly on the Melissantstraat in the Pendrecht neighborhood. They conducted an investigation, spoke with witnesses, and secured footage. A little further on, at a parking lot on Geertruidenbergstraat, police arrested a suspect using a Dangerous Persons Approach Technique (DPAT) who ran out of a car. They were then able to apprehend the other suspect on Raamsdonkweg. Both suspects are from Rotterdam and are 21 and 24 years old. Investigations will reveal who had what role. No one was injured.

Two Arrests for Shooting Incident Melissantstraat
