On Tuesday, January 28, around 3:00 PM, a tobacco shop at Kruidenhof in Diemen was very busy. Suddenly, two boys wearing masks rushed in. One of them threatened an employee with a firearm-like object.
The duo failed to take anything and quickly ran out of the shop. Officers managed to arrest one of the suspects, a 15-year-old boy from Spijkenisse, immediately. The other suspect, a 16-year-old boy from Hoogvliet Rotterdam, was arrested about 400 meters away, during which a warning shot was fired.
