Suspect Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Veendam

Report of a Stabbing Incident
At approximately 19:30, we received a report of a stabbing incident in Veendam. We immediately went to the scene. At Burgemeester Bosscherstraat, we found a victim, a 33-year-old man from Veendam. He had minor injuries and did not need to go to the hospital.

Suspect Arrested
Shortly after the report, we arrested a 38-year-old man from Wildervank. He is currently in custody and will be questioned. The investigation into the incident will continue today.
