Violence Against Police Officers (GTPA)
The police considers violence against staff unacceptable. Police officers have an important role in society and must be able to perform their duties without interference. Respect is essential. Violence against them is not tolerated; reports are always recorded, and offenders are prioritized for prosecution by the Public Prosecution Service, with three times the usual sentence demanded.
