Cyclist dies after collision

On Saturday, March 8, the police received a report that a cyclist had been hit by a truck on Spinozalaan, which had presumably overlooked the cyclist while turning. A mobile medical team arrived on the scene, after which the 58-year-old woman from Voorburg was urgently transported to the hospital. She later died that day from her injuries.

Traffic accident experts from the Traffic Team conducted an investigation on site. The truck driver, a 58-year-old man from Voorburg, has been interviewed as a suspect.
