Ambassador Appointment

The Council of Ministers has approved the following ambassador appointment for the Western Hemisphere on the proposal of Minister Veldkamp of Foreign Affairs. This appointment will only be final once the host country has granted its approval. The appointment will take effect after the summer.

The Council of Ministers approved the appointment of the ambassador to the following post:

• Mexico, based in Mexico City: André Driessen, currently ambassador in Brasilia.
