Secretary of State Van Marum extends the value enhancement scheme

On December 5, 2024, the House of Representatives decided to extend the value enhancement scheme. This scheme provides subsidies to residents of Groningen and North Drenthe with earthquake damage, up to € 4,000 for sustainability measures.

The scheme ends on February 1, 2025. Secretary of State Van Marum extends this scheme until December 31, 2025. The budget has not yet been used and is now allocated for the extension. It is expected that new schemes will be available before that time. If this happens, the value enhancement scheme will end earlier. The ministry will communicate in a timely manner when this occurs and what new schemes will be available for residents.
