Police Arrest Burglars Thanks to Security Cameras Shortly After Burglary

The resident, who was not home at the time of the burglary, saw on camera footage around 8:40 PM that his house was being broken into and called for help. Multiple police units immediately headed to the reported address and saw two men acting suspiciously on Tolhuislaan. While one police unit continued to the house where the burglary had occurred, another unit checked the men. When they received a description from their police colleagues who were already at the burglary site, they searched the men they had stopped. The suspects matched the description perfectly. The two men had the stolen goods with them and could be arrested for burglary. Later, police officers also found a safe stolen from the house in the vicinity. The suspects spent the night in jail and will be interrogated on Sunday.
