New Mayor Appointed in Achtkarspelen

J.D. (Jouke Douwe) de Vries has been appointed as the mayor of the municipality of Achtkarspelen.

The appointment takes effect on January 30, 2025.

Mr. De Vries (54 years old) is a member of the local party S!N.

Until July 2024, he was an alderman in the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân.

Currently, Oebele Brouwer is the mayor of Achtkarspelen.
