Alert Neighbors Catch Burglars

At around 7:30 PM, the burglars attempted to break open a door. They were dressed entirely in black, which made them suspicious. Alert witnesses saw this and warned other neighbors and the police. They kept an eye on the men until the officers arrived. A police officer who was off-duty also saw the burglars and approached them. The burglars tried to run away, but two of them were immediately apprehended by the police. The third burglar was found a little further away by the off-duty officer and he too was arrested. The trio, a 26-year-old man from Zevenbergen, a 29-year-old man from Roosendaal, and a 32-year-old man without a permanent residence, were taken to the detention center. Burglary tools were also found in their possession, which have been seized.
