Investigation
On Monday, forensic investigations will continue in the residential complex. Many of the seized items were already removed on Sunday by the National Facility for Dismantling of the police. This includes a quantity of material weighing several dozen kilograms that resembles narcotics, Crystal Meth. A neighborhood investigation will also be initiated.
Residents
The residents of the adjacent houses are expected to return to their homes on Monday. To vacate the homes, the doors of 11 apartments in the complex were forced open. Two individuals with breathing problems were taken to the hospital due to the fire. After treatment, they were able to return home.
Citizen Alert
The police are investigating the involvement of two individuals who ran away from the apartment complex immediately after the fire. They match the following description: Person 1: A man, approximately 40 years old, about 1.80 meters tall, with a somewhat sturdy build, having a beard and mustache, and short hair that was slightly longer than shaved.
Person 2: A man about 1.80 meters tall, also with a somewhat sturdy build, with a beard that looked like he hadn’t shaved for two days and short hair that was slightly longer than shaved, wearing a dark shirt and light pants. Witnesses/ footage
The police urge witnesses to come forward via 0900-8844. If you know in any other way who is involved at the address, we would like to hear that too. This can be done anonymously, call Crime Anonymous at 0800-7000. The police would also like to receive any footage of those individuals and/or vehicles, including from dashcams in that area.
