Explosions
The explosion at the house on Acacialaan in Baarn occurred around 7:15 AM. The explosion at the house on Broekbos in Kortenhoef occurred around 8:30 AM. Fortunately, no one was injured in either explosion. However, both homes sustained damage.
Three Arrests
After both explosions, witnesses saw a car driving away. Information about the car and the license plate was passed on to the police. With the help of the helicopter and the LX units, the car was pulled over on the A27 around 10:00 AM, and the police arrested the three occupants, three men.
Investigation into Involvement
The police are investigating the extent to which the three men are involved in one or both explosions. Part of the investigation also includes whether there is a connection between the two explosions. The police are conducting further investigations into the matters.
