Investigation into Drents Museum suspects possibly from North Holland

The investigation into the burglary at the Drents Museum is ongoing. The police have indications that the suspects come from North Holland. Tonight, the police will share findings on Opsporing Verzocht (NPO2).

After the burglary on Saturday, January 25, the police launched a major investigation. Both technical and tactical research has been conducted in and around the Drents Museum. Investigations were also carried out in other locations, such as Alkmaar, Witmarsum, Groningen, Assen, and Rolde. A team of detectives and specialists is working on the case to find the stolen goods and apprehend the suspects. This has led to interesting leads and suspicious vehicles, such as a stolen gray Volkswagen Golf.

Ford Transit and tools

In the broadcast, the team asks for attention regarding a dark-colored Ford Transit that may have been involved in the robbery. Additionally, hammers, a sledgehammer, and a crowbar were used. It is possible that the suspects dumped items after the burglary, such as clothing or other objects.

There are several leads from North Holland. The investigation team believes the suspects are from this province.
