Explosion at Coffee Shop
On the night of January 3 to January 4, two security guards were in front of the building on Gasthuisring. At that moment, they saw a burning object thrown at them, hitting one of them. The men jumped up and ran away. Fortunately, the explosive did not detonate.
Previous Arrests
On the morning of January 20, 2025, the police had already arrested two suspects in this case. They were a 19-year-old and a 25-year-old man from Rotterdam. The court has now decided that the 19-year-old will be held for an additional 30 days and the 25-year-old for 90 days.
Third Suspect
The suspect arrested on Wednesday is under full restrictions. This means that he may only have contact with his lawyer. The suspect will be brought before the examining magistrate on Friday.
