The garage box came into view following a suspicious situation. Once inside, a large quantity of white powder was found. Investigations have shown that it is ketamine. All seized items have been confiscated and will be further examined by forensic investigators and the NFI.
Ketamine
Ketamine is not included on lists I or II of the Opium Act but is illegal under the Medicines Act, with a maximum penalty of six years in prison. Ketamine is on the rise as a party drug but is very harmful to public health. The trade is often accompanied by other forms of crime, such as money laundering and possession of weapons.
What is undermining?
Organized, undermining crime involves the mixing of the underworld and the upper world. Criminals exploit citizens, entrepreneurs, and service providers for their own gain and interest. Undermining undermines the rule of law and endangers the safety of society. Additionally, residents in their neighborhood may face intimidation, extortion, corruption, violence, explosions, as well as risks of fire from drug labs and environmental pollution from drug dumping.
