Report of Robbery
Around 12:00 PM, the police received a report of a robbery. Immediately, several units went to the scene. The suspect had already fled, but police later found him at Trompstraat. This involves a 31-year-old man from Meppel. He has been arrested and is being interrogated. In the area of the hospitality venue, we are conducting neighborhood research and checking for any surveillance footage.
Multiple Robberies
On January 9, there was also a robbery in the Woldstraat in Meppel. A few days later, on January 13, there was a robbery at Touwstraat. We are now investigating whether there is a connection between these robberies and the arrested suspect.
