The Hague - The police are investigating an explosion that occurred on January 9 at the 2nd Joan Maetsuyckerstraat. Witnesses are being sought.

At 5:30 AM, the police received a report of an explosive that went off at the front door of a house on the 2nd Joan Maetsuyckerstraat. Officers observed that both a window and a frame were damaged. Two parked cars were also damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The police immediately carried out a neighborhood investigation.

CCTV footage shows the suspect igniting the explosive and quickly walking away in the direction of Hendrik Zwaardecroonstraat. A witness saw a blue station wagon drive away shortly after the explosion.
