The Department of Security, Integrity, and Complaints (VIK) of the Den Haag Unit is conducting an investigation into the employee under the direction of the Public Prosecution Service (OM) in Den Haag. At this time, the police and the OM cannot provide any further statements regarding the case.
There is naturally no room for non-integrity behavior within the police. Therefore, as soon as the actions of the employee became known, a criminal investigation was immediately initiated. The involved employee was also suspended at that time.
