Last Tuesday morning, the resident woke up to find two unknown men in his home. These men were wearing balaclavas and, under the threat of a knife, demanded money, bank cards, and the corresponding PIN codes. The home invaders assaulted the resident and bound him. They left the house with his bank card. The resident managed to free himself and call for help. By tracing the bank transactions, the police quickly located the suspects.
The first suspect was arrested in Alkmaar. He is a 45-year-old man from Alkmaar. He was presented to the judge last Friday, February 21, and taken into custody. The second suspect, a 58-year-old man from Alkmaar, was arrested last Saturday in Heerhugowaard. He was presented to the judge yesterday.
