Witnesses sought for robbery of tobacco store Karspeldreef

Area: Amsterdam

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, two boys robbed a tobacco store on Karspeldreef in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. An employee was threatened with a firearm. The perpetrators took money and goods, but fortunately, there were no injuries. The police are looking for witnesses to this robbery.

At around 6:50 PM, the store employee is startled when two boys, one armed with a firearm, storm into the shop. They head straight for the cash register and threaten the employee. After stealing money and goods, they flee, leaving the employee shocked behind. Fortunately, no one is injured.

With a red shopping bag filled with the stolen items, the boys flee towards the mosque across from Karspeldreef. After that, all traces of them are gone.

Police are still searching for the robbers but have not been able to find them so far.

Suspect 1:
- male;
- height between 1.70 and 1.80 meters;
- light skin tone;
- curly hair visible under the hood;
- under 20 years old;
- no beard;
- blue jacket;
- dark sports pants;
- dark shoes;
- armed with a firearm.

Suspect 2:
- male;
- height between 1.80 and 1.85 meters;
- dark skin tone;
- under 20 years old;
- black mask;
- black jacket with white letters IN GOLD WE TRUST;
- possibly wearing sports pants;
- black Balenciaga shoes with a white logo.
