Minister Beljaarts (EZ) and American companies collaborate on Dutch AI project

Minister Beljaarts of Economic Affairs (EZ) visits Silicon Valley on January 8 and 9. He is having talks with key American technology companies like Nvidia and AMD, with the construction of an AI facility for the Netherlands being the central focus.

Minister Beljaarts (Economic Affairs): “Before any work can begin, we need to ensure that the required expertise and hardware are available. Nvidia possesses the necessary knowledge and high-tech equipment for building an AI facility. They also have experience in constructing such facilities. The competition is intense due to the global demand for these advanced technologies. Therefore, these discussions are a vital step for the establishment of an AI facility. Today, the Netherlands, along with Nvidia, has made significant progress in bringing the construction of a Dutch AI facility closer.”
