Ecstasy to minors
In January of this year, a mother discovered that her minor child had bought ecstasy and alerted the police. The police took immediate action and launched an investigation into the possible dealer. Through this investigation, the police strongly suspected that a 19-year-old man from Hilversum was the one selling (hard) drugs to children. He was believed to be working with another young man.
Searches
On Tuesday, February 25, the police decided to conduct searches at three addresses in Hilversum. At these three addresses, drugs were found in various quantities: from user amounts to commercial quantities. A firearm was also found at one address. Additionally, a total of 13 firecrackers and dozens of shells (heavy fireworks) were found in the bedrooms of the homes. All goods have been seized. The 19-year-old man from Hilversum was arrested, as well as an 18-year-old man from Hilversum. Both are suspected of being involved in drug trafficking. Both suspects will be brought before the examining magistrate on Friday.
The police continue the investigation and do not rule out additional arrests in this case.
