On Sunday, March 9, around 03:00 AM, an explosion occurred at a house on the Wingerd in The Hague. This caused significant damage. Earlier, on Friday, March 7, an explosion took place at another house on the Wingerd, injuring one person.
Some time after the explosion on March 9, three individuals were arrested on suspicion of preparing for a new explosion. They include an 18-year-old man and two minors. During one of the arrests, a bag was found. Investigations by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and the Explosive Investigation Team (TEV) revealed that it contained an explosive device.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the explosions. They are also looking into possible connections. For this investigation, the police are seeking witnesses.
