Pop-up Traffic Control in Bergen op Zoom, Traffic Safety Under Review

Gebied: Bergen op Zoom

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, the police conducted a so-called pop-up traffic control in Bergen op Zoom. This control is part of a series of unforeseen and random checks aimed at improving traffic safety within a municipality.

Pop-up Traffic Control
During these controls, the police can operate at any random time and location in a municipality, without citizens being informed in advance. This makes it unclear for road users when and where they can be checked, contributing to increased compliance with traffic rules.
