When the train arrived at Roosendaal station, multiple NS staff checked the train and its passengers. Two boys behaved rebelliously and later aggressively. They assaulted two enforcement officers but were subsequently subdued by the boas. They were handed over to the police and taken to the police station. They will be interrogated today. The police continue the investigation into what happened on the train.
Safe Public Task
The police do not tolerate verbal or physical violence against enforcement officers, police officers, emergency responders, and government personnel and take decisive action against it. Anyone who commits aggression or violence against a worker with a public task must be quickly and severely punished. It has been agreed with the Public Prosecution Service that the penalty demand for violence against employees with a public task will always be increased. Click here for more information.
