Young people receive messages on Snapchat demanding they pay a fine to an unknown person. This amount can reach hundreds of euros. If they do not pay, serious threats are made against them or their surroundings. Sometimes, young people are also offered a discount on their fine by providing the names of other young people, who can then also be blackmailed.
