Drugstore Robbed in Alkmaar, One Arrest

At around two oclock in the afternoon, a man demanded at a drugstore on Van Ostadelaan: I want the cash register open, now! After stealing money, he rode away on a bike. The employees immediately called the police with a detailed description. Thanks to this information and surveillance footage, the police were able to recognize and arrest the man, a 41-year-old from Alkmaar. He is in custody and the investigation is ongoing. Fortunately, no one was injured, and aftercare is being arranged for the employees.
