New Mayor in Achtkarspelen

J.D. (Jouke Douwe) de Vries has been appointed as the mayor of Achtkarspelen. The appointment will take effect on January 30, 2025.

Mr. De Vries (54 years old) is a member of the local party S!N. Until early July 2024, he was an alderman in the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân.

Currently, Oebele Brouwer serves as the mayor of Achtkarspelen.
