At 8:40 PM, security guards reported two suspicious men. When the police arrived, one of them ran out of the store but was quickly apprehended. The other man was photographed on the parking lot and also arrested. Their car was seized for investigation.
Jewels and money
In the car, police found jewelry, four bank cards, and nearly 10,000 euros. This led to a man from Oostende, Belgium, who had been scammed by someone posing as a bank employee. He handed over an envelope with bank cards and cash.
Extradition
The men have been interrogated multiple times. Both were already internationally wanted for fraud involving bank cards. A court in Amsterdam will decide on the extradition request soon.
