On January 8 at 04:15 AM, an explosion was reported at an apartment on Kasteel-Traverse. Residents were startled by the loud bang and immediately called the police. Officers found a hole in the front door. The investigation revealed that illegal heavy work was used. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Arrest
Our investigation led us to a 52-year-old man from Helmond. He was arrested in his home and taken to the police station. He is suspected of involvement in the explosion and remains in custody. The investigation continues to learn more about the cause of the incident. Further arrests are possible.
