Around 6:25 PM, two boys on a fatbike exhibited suspicious behavior on Baden Powellweg. They were wearing face coverings and putting on gloves. Undercover officers observed this and decided to check the two, during which an object resembling a firearm was seen. An officer fired a warning shot during the arrest of the one sitting at the back and was able to apprehend the suspect. An object resembling a firearm was found at this time. The driver of the fatbike fled, discarding an object resembling a firearm that he threw away. He was also arrested shortly thereafter. One of the firearm-like objects was seized, while the other was not found.

Fake Firearm

Fake firearms that resemble real firearms are prohibited. If a fake firearm cannot be distinguished from a real firearm, officers act as if it is a real firearm. In such cases, it may happen that officers fire a warning shot or draw their weapons. Therefore, possessing a fake firearm is extremely dangerous!
