The economic picture according to the CBS Business Cycle Clock was less negative in January than in December, reports the CBS. In the January Business Cycle Clock, 12 of the 13 indicators performed worse than their long-term trend.

The Business Cycle Clock is a tool for determining the status and course of the Dutch economy. The economic picture according to the Business Cycle Clock is a macroeconomic picture and does not apply equally to all households, businesses, or regions.
