This department sends the most letters from the municipality. Starting in February, there will be a call on the envelopes from this department for residents to submit or return unclear letters. It is an invitation for Eindhoven residents to report when they find a letter from the municipality unclear.
This can be done in various ways. A bright red mailbox will be placed in the hall of the Residents Square. Submit the unclear letter here, it says. Letters can also be reported via a digital form or by calling 14040. The customer contact center will assist the resident further with the report. Staff will work on improving the letters based on the feedback. Everyone who returns the letter will receive a new letter from the municipality.
Deputy Mieke Verhees: “The municipality of Eindhoven wants to reach everyone effectively. We want and must be clear and understandable in our communication. Therefore, we are working even harder on clear and understandable texts for letters, websites, and application forms. We can make good use of residents feedback.”
Throughout this year, the municipality will summarize the results of the trial. After that, other departments will also join.
