Export Remains High in December
The volume (working day adjusted) of goods exports was equal in December to that of December 2023, reports CBS. Exports of food and beverages, chemical products, and machinery were higher than a year earlier. However, the exports of petroleum products, crude oil, and natural gas were lower. The volume of goods imports was 1.1 percent smaller in December than in December 2023. There was particularly less crude oil and natural gas imported.
In the CBS Export Radar of February, the conditions for exports were less unfavorable than in the radar of December.
