The police station in Lemmer will be closed for a few months starting January 15, 2025, due to renovations. Citizens can go to the stations in Sneek or Heerenveen. The renovation is expected to be completed by mid-April.

During the renovation, work will be done on the front desk and spaces for officers. The station will continue to serve the same purpose. Citizens can still report incidents after the renovation.

The police will remain accessible and will patrol in Lemmer during the renovation. Officers can also take reports on-site.

Alternatives in Sneek and Heerenveen
Citizens can go to the stations in Sneek and Heerenveen. Sneek will have extra opportunities for filing reports. If you cant travel, officers can work with you to find a solution. Both stations are open from 09:00 to 17:00.

Reopening Mid-April
The renovation is expected to be completed by mid-April, and the station will then reopen for both officers and citizens.
