The shooting incident occurs around 1:00 PM at the intersection of Johan Kernstraat and Joseph Scaligerstraat. Bystanders immediately provide first aid. Officers in heavy vests arrive quickly at the scene. After the incident, one of the suspects gets into a car.
Due to swift police work, the car is found shortly thereafter in Amsterdam-Zuidoost in a parking lot. A suspect is apprehended by an arrest team at the vehicle. A second suspect can be arrested nearby. Forensic Investigation is conducting an investigation.
