Amsterdam parents and children can get a free annual subscription to ChatLicense. Your child learns to responsibly and playfully handle chatting, gaming, and social media with this app. It’s a kind of digital swimming diploma for children who are getting their first mobile phone.
As a parent, you receive practical tips through this app, a guide with the pros and cons of various apps, and the latest news about phenomena in the online world. Think of addictive algorithms, cyberbullying, and how to discuss screen time with your child.
Why a free subscription?
As a municipality, we find it important that young people and their parents can deal more creatively and consciously with the challenges that the online world brings. That is why we support initiatives that increase digital resilience within the Online Living Environment for Youth program. This scientifically substantiated app helps children and parents navigate their online lives more smartly and safely.
