With a new round of the free Tile Taxi on March 27, the Municipality of Eindhoven offers residents the opportunity to have old garden tiles collected for free. This initiative makes it easier than ever to green your garden and thus contribute to a healthier city for people and animals.
Joining is simple
Residents who wish to participate can register until March 17 via eindhovenduurzaam.nl/tegeltaxi. After registration, they will receive an email with instructions for collecting sturdy big bags. These can be picked up for free between March 10 and 21. On March 27, the Tile Taxi will be deployed to collect the tiles for free.
Councilor Rik Thijs (green): “Removing heavy garden tiles is often a challenge. With our free Tile Taxi, we pick up old tiles and make it easier and more attractive to green your garden. This way, you contribute to a healthier and greener city for people and animals.”
Why are we greening?
More greenery in the city provides cooling on hot days, helps prevent water damage, and promotes biodiversity. Eindhoven is actively committed to a healthy and sustainable living environment. By participating in this initiative, residents can directly contribute to an attractive city and living environment for people and animals.
