Today, the Commission opens applications for the NEB Prizes and the NEB Boost for Small Municipalities, celebrating innovation and creativity.
The NEB Prizes reward beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive projects by individuals, teams, and organizations. The NEB Boost supports small local governments in implementing transformative projects with strong community involvement.
The NEB Prizes 2025 focus especially on affordable housing, awarding projects that contribute to the EUs efforts for affordable housing and NEB values.
The NEB Boost targets municipalities in rural areas or with populations under 20,000, recognizing their role in the NEB movement.
Winners receive a €30,000 prize and a communication package to further develop their projects.
Applications are open until February 14, 2025, via the NEB Prizes platform. Details are available in the respective applicant guides.
