On Tuesday, January 28, the committees of the House of Representatives will accept various petitions from citizens and organizations. This regular event allows individuals to voice their opinions directly to Parliament. This time, ten petitions will be presented.
The presentation occurs between 1:15 PM and 2:00 PM in the main hall of the House of Representatives, the Statenpassage. Different committees will receive petitions, with members present to accept them.
Petitions on Tuesday, January 28
- 1:15 PM: Petition Stop the Informal Education Supervision Act by the Interchurch Knowledge Center (IKC) to the Committee for Education, Culture, and Science;
- 1:15 PM: Petition about equal playing field, sustainability, and circularity in the import sector by ONL for Entrepreneurs and VIVO to the Committee for Economic Affairs;
- 1:15 PM: Petition on issues at Fokus Wonen by the National Working Group on Fokus Foundation Misconduct to the Committee for Health, Welfare, and Sport;
- 1:30 PM: Petition on strengthening social constitutional articles by Grandparents for the Climate to the Committee for Home Affairs;
- 1:30 PM: Petition Withdraw the Informal Education Supervision Act by the Islamic Foundation Netherlands (ISN) to the Committee for Education, Culture, and Science;
- 1:30 PM: Petition The failing safety net. How WIA can be improved by the FNV union to the Committee for Social Affairs and Employment;
- 1:30 PM: Petition for a ban on conversion practices by COC Netherlands to the Committee for Justice and Security;
- 1:45 PM: Petition on the conversion therapy law by the Pink Lion Foundation to the Committee for Justice and Security;
- 1:45 PM: Petition Jointly sweep the Informal Education Supervision Bill off the table by NL PLAN to the Committee for Education, Culture, and Science;
- 1:45 PM: Petition Stop the enforcement of the unclear Assessment of Employment Relationships Deregulation Act (DBA) by Committee ZZP to the Committee for Social Affairs and Employment.
