Test results indicate that there are no animals in the Netherlands with FMD. Consequently, Minister Femke Marije Wiersma of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature (LVVN) has decided to reduce the implemented measures. This includes the ban on transporting and visiting veal farms. A limited number of 3754 samples will be retested for safety. The affected farms are still individually blocked by the NVWA. Once these test results are known and favorable, the block will also be lifted for these farms. It is expected that all results will be known by early next week.
