New €148 Million EU Aid for Ukraine
With ongoing conflicts affecting Ukraine, around 12.7 million require emergency relief. The EU funds will assure that aid such as food and shelters reach those most in need promptly.
Of the €148 million, €140 million will address immediate needs like food, shelter, and healthcare in Ukraine. The rest supports Moldovan efforts for Ukrainian refugees with critical services and cash help.
Commissioner Hadja Lahbib visits Ukraine, reaffirming EU commitment and meeting leaders like President Zelensky to coordinate aid strategies.
Under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, the EU sent over 150,000 tonnes of assistance, including medical and temporary shelters, into Ukraine.

Business Acquisition Approved
