The Commission approves the creation of a joint venture by EFMS and Leigh

The European Commission has approved the creation of a joint venture by EQT Fund Management S.à r.l (EFMS), based in Luxembourg, and Leigh Investment Pte. Ltd (Leigh), based in Singapore, under the EU Merger Regulation. The venture focuses on water meter services and data consumption reading. The Commission found no competition concerns due to the limited activities of the joint venture in the European Economic Area. The transaction was reviewed under the simplified merger control procedure. The Commission approves the acquisition of Invesis by PGGM

The European Commission has approved the acquisition of Invesis Group B.V. (Invesis) by PGGM Vermogensbeheer B.V. (PGGM), both of the Netherlands, under the EU Merger Regulation. This transaction is mainly related to infrastructure projects. The Commission concluded that the acquisition would not cause competition issues. The Commission approves the acquisition of JCI by Bosch

The European Commission has approved the acquisition of Johnson Controls International (JCI) of Ireland by Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch) of Germany under the EU Merger Regulation. This transaction is related to HVAC equipment. The Commission found no competition concerns due to the limited market impact. Commissioner Dombrovskis travels to Latvia for the RRF annual event

Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis is attending the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) Annual Event in Riga, Latvia. He will discuss Latvias progress and future priorities under NextGenerationEU with various stakeholders. His keynote speech at the National Opera is covered by EBS. The Commissioner also joined a press briefing with Latvias Finance Minister to discuss the RRF plans implementation and EU investments. These events are crucial for assessing the impact of EU-backed reforms.

Commissioner Kubilius visits Germany for European defence talks

Commissioner Andrius Kubilius is in Berlin for discussions on strengthening European defence and support for Ukraine. The visit contributes to the upcoming White Paper on European Defence. Meetings with Germanys Defence Minister and other officials are planned to discuss enhancing defence industry competitiveness and support for Ukraine.
