In 2024, RVO proudly supported 26 groundbreaking projects through the Innovation Credit. Together, we enable more than €100 million in innovative developments, with €43 million directly contributed by the Innovation Credit. These projects cover various technologies and sectors crucial for the future of the Netherlands.

Impact of the Innovation Credit

With the Innovation Credit, we not only help companies innovate but also ensure these innovations provide tangible benefits to society. From medical breakthroughs to sustainable production solutions, the projects we support form a solid foundation for the future.

Advancements in Key Technologies

We have made significant strides in key technologies such as Lifescience & Biotech and Photonics & Optical. Projects from NoPalm Ingredients and Delta Diagnostics make this possible. These innovations are not only technically advanced but also contribute to societal themes that improve peoples quality of life.

Contribution to Societal Themes

Our projects contribute significantly to major societal themes. For example:

  • Better Healthcare: Kaminari Medical is developing innovative technology for treating heart diseases. Spatium Medical is working on a smart insufflator for minimally invasive surgeries, enhancing patient safety and recovery processes.
  • Responsible Production and Consumption: Dayrize is developing the DaySI - Actionable Insights platform, helping companies improve sustainability by making it measurable, actionable, and accessible.

Other Example Projects

  • Luna from Angstone: an inconspicuous night vision glasses for people with night blindness, contributing to better mobility and safety.
  • SenseGlove from Adjuvo Motion bv (photo): a haptic glove project enabling virtual reality in healthcare for rehabilitation, training surgeons, and improving patient care.
  • Meatable: working on cultured meat, offering a more sustainable and animal-friendly alternative to traditional meat production.
