The cluster Die Neuen Protein NL Partner für Deutschland, together with RVO, offers opportunities in Germany for alternative proteins. Join the cluster!

Germany has the largest market for plant-based meat in Europe, and the demand for animal-free products is increasing. The cluster of 7 companies is entering the German market, contributing to the protein transition.

On January 24th, the first meeting took place with the cluster and RVO. The collaboration is part of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program.

Die Neuen Protein NL Partner für Deutschland aims to offer a complete range of ingredients and technology in Germany.

Protein transition in Germany

Alternatives to animal products are popular due to health, environmental, and ethical reasons.

Plant-based milk and meat are already present in German supermarkets. Other products like plant-based fish are in development.

The Netherlands is strong in innovation in the food industry in Germany. The goal is to convince more flexitarians to consume fewer animal products and accelerate the protein transition.
