No FMD has been found in animals tested in the Netherlands in recent weeks.
Therefore, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature has decided to ease the measures. From January 24, 2025, there are no longer restrictions for veal calf farms, except for 12 companies still undergoing retests. If no antibodies are found there, restrictions will also be lifted.
