Plans for Dijkgraafplein: Housing Construction One Step Closer

The construction of homes at Dijkgraafplein in Osdorp is progressing. The college has approved funding for 170 homes, featuring a mix of social rent, middle segment, and owner-occupied homes, along with community facilities such as a meeting space.

The homes will be 50 to 60 m² and are suitable for starters and seniors. They will have a communal garden, bike storage, and parking spaces. The distribution will be 30% social rent, 40% middle segment, and 30% free sector.

Community Reactions

From June to September 2024, residents could respond. The 19 responses were processed into the plans, adding more greenery and additional three-room and senior homes.

Whats Next?

After the colleges approval, the council committee will discuss the investment note on February 12. The city council will make a decision on March 5. With a positive decision, the developer can apply for permits to start construction, expected to begin in 2026.
