From fermented foods that can influence peoples mental health to an innovative poultry feeding system: the 11 new fellows at the Faculty of Impact will focus on a wide range of topics. With a personal grant, they have two years to transform their ideas into a scalable commercial or societal startup.
They will also receive support in their initial steps towards entrepreneurship through the Faculty of Impact coaching program. This initiative helps academics create societal and/or economic impact based on their research. In the 2024 round, the themes were Agriculture, Water and Food, and Circular Economy. Most fellows will work on these themes.
Below you can read more about the fellows and their proposals. The project summaries are only available in English.
