Reflection on Cluster Energy Strategies 2024 (CES 3.0)

Developing energy infrastructure is essential for industrial sustainability. The CES 3.0 has improved dialogue between businesses, grid operators, and governments. However, enthusiasm for participating in CES is waning as many see it as redundant. A streamlined process could help maintain engagement. Most emission reduction projects are still in early stages, with a potential reduction of 37 megatons by 2030. Yet, the full reduction target may not be met. The CES 3.0 reaffirms previous infrastructure needs as identified in earlier versions.
