However, enthusiasm for participating in CES is waning as many see it as redundant. A streamlined process could help maintain engagement. Most emission reduction projects are still in early stages, with a potential reduction of 37 megatons by 2030. Yet, the full reduction target may not be met. The CES 3.0 reaffirms previous infrastructure needs as identified in earlier versions.
